Why an Uncontested Divorce Makes Sense

Posted on March 6, 2019

When it comes to getting a divorce, it can understandably be a very emotional and hot-button issue. However, if there is not a lot of animosity between the couple or if there are justifiable reasons that the couple is getting divorced and they both understand this, then a uncontested divorce tampa is clearly the way to go. Here are the reasons why this is so!

1. With an uncontested divorce, there is no need to appear in court. The dignity of both parties involved can be maintained as they will not have to face each other and they will also not have to explain themselves in person in the court. Some very simple forms are filed and the divorce is granted.

2. The stress level of getting a divorce is greatly reduced when it is uncontested. There are no more privacy issues and there is greater control over what happens with everything. This can be a veritable Godsend to those who know the pain a divorce can bring because they have been through one before.

3. The length of time that an uncontested divorce takes is significantly shorter than the length of time that a contested divorce may take. Traditional divorces may take as long as years while an uncontested divorce can take as little as just a few months. This can be a great factor to consider when applying for divorce because it means that both parties can move on with their lives that much more quickly.

As you can see, there are many reasons why an uncontested divorce is a great idea when both parties have decided that marriage is no longer able to remain solvent. By approaching it this way instead of in an angry and disturbed way, you can make sure that as little stress as possible is felt.
